ALL THINGS SUMMER SPECTACULAR!!!
Volunteers
This year, Summer Spec will be July 27th-30th, and we need you to help us make this year's Summer Spec the best ever!! We have so many ways for everyone to be a part of this SPECTACULAR event.
One of our much-needed positions:
Preschool Puppet Show Producer - You will need to meet with the teens/puppets to rehearse the show, then be there each night of Summer Spec to ensure everything runs smoothly. You can help write the show, or that can be provided for you.
Click here for details and to sign up, or grab a volunteer card from the lobby.
Summer Spectacular Registration is OPEN! Click here to register your child(ren), 3 years through rising 6th graders:
Work Nights
Every Wednesday night leading up to Summer Spec will be work nights, and we need any willing hands. There are all sorts of ways to help us prepare...painting, building set parts, decorating for preschool, putting the stage together in the Worship Center, etc.
Show up around 6:30 and we will point you in the right direction!!
T-Shirt Order ***Final Order, this Sunday, July 6th***
We will be accepting orders for the FBC logo (black, blue, red and purple) and the Beautiful (navy, yellow) designs. You can order online here or grab an order form from the lobby.
FLAME
FUEL students - don’t let your FLAME go out over the summer! Come on Tuesday nights (6:30 - 8:15pm) to spend time with friends, play games, and fan the FLAME of God’s word inside of you. The next FLAME is this Tuesday, June 24th!
Men's Summer Bible Study - BASECAMP
Aaron Sink will lead a new 7-week Bible study for men on Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm, starting on July 1st in Building C.
Here is a book overview:
Men struggle today with so many things in our world today. They isolate, minimize the need for other men and Jesus in their lives. Many men don't know how to love their wives well, train their kids, lead their families. They long for it in their hearts but struggle to and the trail that leads to the summit. This Bible study is a simple study by two friends. Two guys who long to hear Jesus speak, teach them how to do this life the best they can.
In the end, in every man's heart he has the same question, "Did I live well? Did I love well? Did I honor Jesus and all He gave me?" Take a few weeks, ride this trail with TJ and Joe Don and see if God doesn't help you find some trail markers that you long for.
Be sure to sign up so Aaron will know how many books to have available (at no cost to you!).
Food Pantry - If you know of someone in need of food, please contact Robin Quinn at robin.d.quinn@gmail.com or (336) 422-7272
We are always accepting food and monetary donations!
