FBC Upcoming Events & Prayer Needs 3-06-2025

Events

Spring Forward this coming Sunday!! Don't forget to move your clocks up one hour (if you still do that kinda thing).

Business Meeting & Soup Fellowship

The 4th Quarter Business Meeting/Soup Fellowship is this Sunday, March 9th at 5:30 pm.

There is a special event planned following the meeting! Pastor Phillip would like to have those in attendance come into the TRAC building and write scripture on the framing prior to the walls being erected.  Be thinking about what scripture you want to write.

Please bring a soup/chili, dessert and a drink to share for the fellowship following the meeting.

New Connections Class

If you have been attending FBC and would like to join or are simply curious about how we operate as a church, the New Connections Class is the place for you! Our next class is Tuesday, March 11th, at 6:30 pm. Click the link below to sign up:

Already attended a class? If you're ready to take the next step and join the FBC family, all you need to do is come down on Sunday morning during the final song after Pastor Phillip's message or speak to him privately to let him know you're ready!

I've joined...now what? 1 Peter 4:10 says, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."

We have many ministries on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights and we can always find a place for you to serve in the way God has called you to. If you want to sign up to volunteer, you can click on the link below or fill out a Volunteer Card located in the lobby and leave it in the basket. Our staff members are always ready to talk to you about what each ministry looks like and how to get you plugged in!

Easter Egg Hunt

The FBC Easter Egg Hunt will be on Saturday, April 12th at 10:30 am and is for toddlers through 5th grade. Our preschoolers will have a blast making Easter crafts, hearing the Easter story and hunting for eggs filled with goodies!

Our K-5th graders will enter the field and hop onto a tractor, which will lead them around through different stages of the Easter story, then drop them off to hunt for eggs!

Once each group has wrapped up, come over to the food table for hot dogs, chips and drinks.

Be sure to invite your friend's and neighbor's kids too! All are welcome and there are no signups.

VOLUNTEERS - we need lots of people to help us out to make this day run smoothly. You can click on the link below for more details and to sign up. There are also Easter Volunteer Cards in the lobby if you prefer to sign up that way. You can reach out to any staff member with questions.

FUEL Extreme Easter Egg Hunt

Students will spend time in the woods looking for Easter eggs with a Capture the Flag element. Wear clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting messed up!

Click the link for more details and to sign your middle or high school student up. Tell them to invite their friends!

Food Pantry - If you know of someone in need of food, please contact Robin Quinn at robin.d.quinn@gmail.com or (336) 422-7272

We are always accepting food and monetary donations!
