FBC Upcoming Events & Prayer Needs 2-29-2024

Updated: Apr 4

Annie Armstrong Offering

As we continue to support the revitalization of Hope Community Church (formerly Welcome Baptist) in Statesville, NC, we will be using all Annie Armstrong offerings collected in the month of March to go towards the much needed renovations and other needs as they continue to grow and create a presence in their community.

Envelopes will be available by the tithing boxes and in the lobby - be sure to write your name on the envelope. You can also give online through the Church Center app.

Easter Egg Hunt Candy Donations

With our Easter Egg Hunt coming up on March 30th, we will need lot and lots of candy. Any small candy that can be stuffed into plastic eggs is great. All candy can be dropped off in the lobby.

Service for Roger Miller

Roger's service will be held at Farmington Baptist Church on Sunday, March 3rd. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Farmington Community Cemetery. Please continue to pray for his wife, Ellen and their family.

Primary Election Voting

FBC will be used as a Davie county election facility on Tuesday, March 5th.

New Connections Class - originally scheduled for March 7th, has been moved to Wednesday, March 6th, 5:45 pm

If you have been attending FBC and would like to join, or if you're simply curious to know how we operate as a church, the New Connections Class is the place for you!

***Since this class is on a Wednesday, we will have food provided for whoever attends so you don't have to worry about dinner before you come. Be sure to sign up so we can contact you about your food order. ***

Sign up here or with a Communication Card (located in the lobby).

Men's Prayer Breakfast - Saturday, March 9th, 8:30 am in building C

Men, come out and fill your bellies with breakfast and your hearts with fellowship. There is always a time of prayer for each other, our church, and our community. You are always encouraged to bring your sons with you as well.

Ivey Jackson - health issues - still in the hospital

Whitney Short's nephew, Ralphy George. He is 2 years old and was diagnosed with retinoblastoma. Tomorrow, March 1st, they will do surgery to remove his left eye. He will start chemo on Monday or Tuesday. Please also pray for his parents, Connor and Jessica George.

Please continue to pray for the family of Roger Miller as they prepare for his funeral service on Sunday, March 3rd.
