A Christmas Gathering
This year our FBC Christmas program will look very different. We will start the night off outside at 5pm keeping warm and cozy by the fire while drinking hot chocolate, coffee, cider and eating yummy Dewey’s Moravian Sugar Cake. Afterwards, we will gather together in the Worship Center to hear the Christmas story and sing carols. We are so excited to spend this special night with our FBC family celebrating the birth of our Savior!
Come and join this Sunday, December 10th at 5:00pm!
8 Days of Prayer
We continue this week with our 8 Days of Prayer - a link to the blog will be send out daily with that day's specific prayer need. You can also find more information in your December newsletter.
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
Lottie Moon was sent as a Southern Baptist missionary to China from 1873 to 1912. She saw firsthand the world’s greatest problem — LOSTNESS. Meeting so many people who had never heard the gospel compelled her to write letters to American churches describing the need for a greater missionary presence.
She pleaded for increased prayer and financial support to send and sustain more missionaries. This challenge became known as the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering®.
We will be collecting for the Lottie Moon Offering through the end of December. Please put your offering in a Missions envelope or make a note on the memo line of your check.
From now until January 21st we will be collecting coats of all sizes (infant - adult). All coat donations will go to the Yadkin Baptist Association. If you have any questions please contact:
