Nelson Family Diaper Drop

Dion & Michaela Nelson are excitedly awaiting baby Everleigh’s arrival, and so are we! There will be a Diaper Drop for them this Sunday and running through next Sunday, September 27th. You can drop off diapers, wipes, gift cards, etc in the main lobby. Thank you for helping us love on this family.

FBC Small Groups

If you missed the announcement, Nate McCartney has taken on a part-time staff role here at FBC! One of his main areas of focus will be our Small Groups Ministry.

Joining a small group is about more than simply getting to know the people you see in passing on Sunday mornings. It’s an opportunity to build genuine relationships and find a community of people who will encourage you, pray with you, and walk alongside you. You’ll share meals, study God’s Word, pray together, and grow in your faith together. These connections are priceless.

Chicken Stew Plus

One of our favorite community events, Chicken Stew Plus, is coming up on Saturday, October 24th!

As we get ready for the big day, we’re asking everyone to help us stock up on candy so we’ll have plenty to fill the kids’ bags as they make their way through the Hayride Trunk or Treat!

WE NEED CANDY!

All candy donations can be dropped off in the main lobby.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

The only way to pull off such a huge community event is with lots and lots of help. We need people to help with: decorated trunks for Trunk or Treat, Food Team, Loading Assistants for the hayride, Box Maze attendants, and more! Jennifer Allen's stepmother, Susan Cooper - recovering from another recent surgery due to continued complications. Will have an additional procedure to remove fluid from her abdomin. They are hoping she will be moved to a rehab facility soon. Please continue to pray for Jennifer's dad as well.

Nora Grace Robbins - please continue to pray that they can find solutions to the health problems Nora Grace has been dealing with. She has several appointments this month; a lumber puncture, meet with the Chief Pediactric Vascular surgeon and an cardiology appointment. Pray for answers for this poor girl that they will find a solution so she won't require lifelong symptom management.

Nicole Gilbert - health issues

Nathan (Katie) Johnson's mom, Geraldine - upcoming surgery on September 22nd to remove the sarcoma on her neck.

Crystal LaForce Collins (a friend of Jessica Tilley's) - major complications from a medical procedure, causing extreme problems including liver failure and the need for an intestinal/bowel transplant.
