Carter Family Diaper Drop

Dakota and Hannah Carter are excitedly awaiting their precious baby, due in September! We will hold a Diaper Drop for them again this Sunday, August 23rd. The Carters have opted to use cloth diapers, but they will still have a need for wipes and gift cards. All items can be dropped off in the main lobby.

Move Up Sunday

With the new school year starting, it’s time for some kids to move up on Sunday mornings! If you have a child who has begun kindergarten, they will now attend Kid’s Worship in Building C. New 6th graders will attend the worship service with their parents.

Child Pickup Procedures

We are so grateful that you allow us the privilege of caring for your children while you worship with us on Sunday mornings. One of the ways we can help ensure your children are well cared for is by diligently following our Parent Pickup procedures.

When you check your child in, you should receive a Parent Pickup Sticker for each child. Please be sure to bring your sticker with you when you return to your child’s classroom for pickup. While we may know you and your family well, we ask that everyone follow these procedures consistently. Due to the world we live in, we must exercise an extra level of caution to help keep every child safe.

In addition to presenting your Parent Pickup Sticker, only an authorized adult may pick up your child. Teens in the family may only pick up younger siblings if they are 18 years old and have graduated from high school.

We know these procedures may sometimes feel inconvenient, but each measure is in place with one goal in mind: to provide the safest possible environment for your child while they are in our care. Thank you for partnering with us and helping us protect and care for your children!

Wednesday Night Ministries

Wednesday Night Ministries will start back in September!

• Our student ministry, FUEL, kicks off on September 2nd at 6:30 pm. Middle school students will meet in the downstairs FUEL room. High school students will head upstairs to the loft.

• Adult Bible Study begins on September 9th at 7:00 pm in the main Worship Center.

• See below for information about our Awana program for ages 2 through 5th grade.

AWANA 2026-2027

Awana registrations are now OPEN for kids 2 years old - 5th grade! You can click here to sign your child up online or visit our website at www.farmingtonbaptist.church. We will follow up with you as we get closer to the first night, Sept. 2nd, with more information.

Volunteers

The start of Awana is approaching quickly, and we still need volunteers for:

Puggles Leaders & Assistants - 2-3 years old who haven't begun preschool yet

T&T Assistants- 3rd-5th grade

Floaters - those who are willing to be plugged in where needed

We also need people who can simply sit in with a child and listen to them recite a memory verse or show them a section in their book they have completed.

Keep praying she will continue improving and for strength and rest for her caregivers***

Robin Quinn's sister-in-law, Rose Dinkins - having to go to the doctor daily for an infusion in her knee due to an infection
