Upcoming Events
Quinteros Wedding Shower Drop
Elvis & Kelli Quinteros were married on May 15th, & we want to celebrate them by having a Wedding Shower Drop this Sunday, May 24th. All gifts/cards can be dropped off in the main lobby. They are registered on Amazon.
A Hebrew Summer
Many of you are bummed that our Wednesday Night Adult Bible Study has wrapped up for the summer...BUT WAIT...THERE'S MORE! Even though we won’t be meeting in person, beginning this Wednesday, May 27th, you can enjoy watching some of our fantastic leaders here at FBC bring you a different lesson each week, walking us through the book of Hebrews. You don’t want to miss this! Each Wednesday, a new video will premiere on the FBC YouTube page!
Preschool Volunteer Refresher
If you currently serve in the nursery, toddler class, or preschool class, this class is for you. We are asking all volunteers to make this meeting a priority and plan to attend on May 28th at 6pm. We will be covering important information—some familiar and some new—as we prepare for the next phase of ministry together. Dinner is provided! Click here to let Emily know your meal choices.
Summer Surge
This summer, we are excited to launch an all-new worship experience, created especially for current 5th graders (rising 6th graders) as they prepare to transition from elementary school into middle school. We recognize this is an important stage in their lives, and we want to intentionally encourage them to grow deeper in their walk with Christ during this time of change.
Beginning Sunday, May 31, current 5th graders will move out of Kids Worship and begin meeting in their own class during the 11:00 service in the Loft. This special summer class will continue through August as they prepare to move up into FUEL. Throughout the summer, students will study foundational biblical doctrines and learn practical ways to live out their faith as followers of Jesus.
Parents, be on the lookout for a letter in the mail this week with more details!
Pinebrook Appreciation Breakfast
As the school year wraps up, FBC loves to show local teachers how much we appreciate their hard work and investment in the children in our community throughout the year. FBC will be serving the Pinebrook Elementary staff breakfast on June 9th at 8:30 am. If you’d like to be a part of this, click here or email Katie Johnson at kjohnsonfbc@icloud.com. You can help set up, serve or provide food.
