Each December we have a week of prayer to focus on the needs of our missionaries. We have reached out to the missionaries we support to ask what specific prayer needs they have at this time. Please take a moment each day to pray for them, their families and their ministry.
Day 5: Hope Community Church, Craig Smith
Craig Smith is the pastor of Hope Community Church, formerly Welcome Baptist Church, in Statesville. One year ago we partnered with 3 other churches and the SYBA to revitalize this church. We have seen the Lord provide for them in many ways and we are excited about their future.
Pastor Craig has requested that we pray for them in this way:
Pray that they all stay focused on God’s vision for the church and not get distracted with all of the excitement of construction/renovation of the church building.
Pray for continued growth and new visitors to attend their weekly service.
Pray for the renovation work that still needs to be done within the church.
